Bukhara main portal of Abdullah Khan madrasah.
The madrasah was built in the 16th century by order of Abdullakhan and is located in the western part of the historical center of Bukhara. The two-story Abdullakhan madrasah had 108 cells (hujras) for students. The madrasah plan follows the traditional scheme of grouping rooms around a four-terrace courtyard, the entrance is marked by a peshtak, the corners are flanked by turrets - guldasta. The ornamentation of the main and courtyard facades is made of colored glazed bricks and majolica.
