Photo of the inner courtyard of Asfandiyarkhan's chambers in the Nurullabay Palace.
The photo shows the third courtyard of the palace, which in 1954-1955 was adapted into bedrooms of the boarding school. The courtyard consisted of two floors with verandas supported by carved columns. Elms grow in the middle of the courtyard, a well on the left. The lower floor on the left after the reconstruction was a kitchen and dining room. In the middle of the courtyard there is a metal pole. At the top of it there was a block for raising a lantern in the evening. The entire palace was converted into a boarding school in 1954-1955.
